Entertainment Tonight
Hello! I'm Ian Brown and every Monday and Thursday evening it's my pleasure to present Entertainment Tonight on Hospital Radio Bedford.
The programme consists of easy listening music and conversation covering all aspects of the performing arts.
Each week, I'm joined by a celebrity guest to talk about their career and current projects.
There can only be one theatrical highlight in March and that is the arrival of Waiting for Godot starring Sir Iain McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Ronald Pickup and Simon Callow at the Milton Keynes Theatre ahead of its West End transfer. I have my seat booked for Monday 16th March.
Other shows worthy of a mention and showing locally this month include the BFG at Royal and Derngate, Little Shop of Horrors at the Cambridge Arts Theatre, A Chorus of Disapproval at the Watford Palace Theatre and The Chinese State Circus at the Grove Theatre in Dunstable.
This month sees the first birthday of the West End production of Jersey Boys and the closure of Avenue Q. Both shows feature this month in the programme.
Productions are featured at the following theatres:
- Bedford Corn Exchange
- Cambridge Corn Exchange
- Arts Theatre, Cambridge
- Royal and Derngate, Northampton
- Gordon Craig theatre, Stevenage
- Stables, Wavendon
- Palace Theatre, Watford
- Grove Theatre, Dunstable
