How to Tune In
Hospital Radio Bedford broadcasts throughout Bedford South Wing Hospital via the bedside Hospicom terminals and, in the parts of the hospital without Hospicom, the hospital's radio distribution system.
If you have a Hospicom terminal (shown left) at your bedside, press the "Radio" option on the main menu. Then, select HRB from the list on the left hand side of the screen. After a few moments, you should be able to hear our output.
HRB and all the other radio services provided through the Hospicom terminal are free of charge.
If you do not have a Hospicom terminal at your bedside, you should find a small handheld controller and a set of plastic earphones. Normally these can be found on the wall next to your bed. The controller is the same one that you may use to call for nurse assistance. If you can't find these then contact your ward staff who will be able to help. Select channel 2 on the controller and listen using the plastic tube earphones.
